1.Formation of amino benzioc acid
Para-aminobenzoic acid or PABA is a component fo folic acid and is a member of the B family of vitamins although it is not essential for humans. Within the body PABA is used to break down proteins and form red blood cells which are very significant to the body. PABA has also been known for healthy hair and skin and at times PABA can even prevent small scale hair loss.
Although PABA plays a role in all these instances it is most well known for its presence in sunscreen. PABA is a major ingredient in sunscreen and lotions that are used to block the ultraviolet rays from the sun. However, in recent years PABA use has not been as popular because of the negative effects that it seems to cause such as nausea, vomiting, rash etc.

2.Formations of N,N Diethyl-o-toluamide
N, N Diethyl-o-toluamide (DEET) which is found in OFF is one of the most common insect repellants used. It was initially created by the United States Army because of intense fighting in the jungle which would lead to bites from mosquitos and ticks. These bites could often transmit lime disease, West Nile fever and malaria. DEET is a applied to the skin and helps to prevent mosquito and tick bites.
Unlike PABA it has not yet been proven to negatively effect the skin however the effects of DEET are for a person to person basis. Toxicology results have not yet indicated any harm as a result of using DEET which bolsters its reputation as the best insect repellant available today.
